The Telkaya, (meaning ‘to be well, to be peaceful’ in Wurrekangurr), is a piece created for a customer to fit in an awkward, unused space in the house. The customer knew the design they were looking for with the original concept being a shoe cabinet with a bench seat, to go in a space that juts out. The finished piece allows everything to have a space and place in the customer's home and creates a sense of peacefulness and order.

The Telkaya features solid timber internals, a timber door handle and solid timber shelves. This piece can be made to suit your space, in the timber of your choice.
